A new era started when Ravi & Rahul Kotawala joined the legacy in 2000’s.
The brand embraced the art of traditional jewellery making with automation and ventured into bulk manufacturing for exports.
Kotawala Legacy adapted innovation, rooted in traditional techniques handed over through generations.Over two centuries later, the Kotawala family continues to carry forward their vision refined through time, tradition, and technology. Half a century ago, the Kotawala family discovered their lasting inspiration in silver, a timeless metal mirroring the elegance, devotion, and cultural depth of their heritage. What began as a quiet obsession soon grew into an artistic journey, shaped by creativity, dedication, and a deep respect for craft.
As their work gained admiration and their vision expanded, the family moved to Jaipur, the luminous heart of gemstones and royal craftsmanship. In this vibrant city, surrounded by centuries of artistry, their skills matured, their identity strengthened, and their legacy in handcrafted silverwork continued to evolve with renewed purpose and brilliance.
Evolution of Process :
The brand’s craftsmanship seamlessly blends hand artistry with modern perfection, creating a harmonious blend of skill and technology. Until 2015, every casting was done by hand; today, it is refined with advanced automation tools that enhance quality while preserving the essence of handmade jewels. From designing to casting, making, polishing, and finishing. Every step is carried out with deep care and expertise.
Each jewel passes through multiple layers of quality checks, is hallmarked for purity, stamped for authenticity, and inspected at least four times before it leaves the workshop. Every sparkle is a promise kept of quality, transparency & dedication.
